FGS Student Hub is a moderated student community platform designed for collaboration, communication, school friendly events, discussions, polls, and sharing content in a safer online environment.

For users under 13, automatic data collection is limited to what is reasonably necessary to operate, protect, secure, and moderate the platform.

FGS Student Hub uses automated and manual moderation tools to help protect users and enforce site rules.

  • Chat lobbies, posts, Moments, polls, discussions, comments, reports, and other user content may be reviewed when reported, flagged, or connected to a safety concern.
  • Chat lobbies are heavily moderated and may be monitored by automated safety systems.
  • If a blocked word, unsafe phrase, or flagged message is detected, the message may be sent to FGS site management for manual review.
  • FGS may review moderation records, flagged activity, blocked word detections, safety alerts, and enforcement history when needed to protect users or enforce rules.
  • Users should not share sensitive personal information in chats, posts, comments, polls, or other public or community features.

Depending on the situation, FGS may warn users, remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, contact a parent or guardian when appropriate, or take other safety actions.


4. Parent or Guardian Consent and Users Under 13

FGS does not knowingly create or activate full accounts for users under 13 without verified parent or guardian consent.

  • Users under 13 must have verified parent or guardian consent before an account is created or activated.
  • Before consent is approved, FGS may collect limited information needed to request and manage consent.
  • No full under 13 account is activated until consent is approved.
  • Parents or guardians may review, manage, revoke consent for, or request deletion of their child's account information.
  • Parents or guardians may manage multiple child accounts when supported by the platform.
  • If consent is denied, revoked, or not completed within a reasonable time, FGS may restrict, deactivate, or delete the related child account or pending signup information.

5. How We Share Information

FGS does not sell student data. FGS does not rent personal information. FGS does not use student information for third party advertising.

FGS may share limited information only when needed for the following reasons:

  • With Parent or Guardian Accounts: Parent or guardian accounts may be able to review or manage information related to connected child accounts.
  • With Service Providers: FGS may use trusted services to help operate the platform, such as hosting, email delivery, authentication, security, database storage, analytics, or support tools. These services may process information only as needed to provide their services to FGS.
  • For Safety and Security: FGS may share or review information when needed to protect users, investigate harmful activity, enforce rules, or respond to safety concerns.
  • For Legal Requirements: FGS may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or valid government request.

  • Users may manage newsletter subscription settings in their user settings.
  • Users may unsubscribe from newsletters through their account settings when available.
  • Parents or guardians may revoke consent for a child account at any time.

  • Users or parents and guardians may contact FGS to request access, correction, deletion, or support related to account information.

If FGS Student Hub is used for a classroom activity, school project, or teacher directed use, users should follow their teacher's instructions and their school or district technology rules.
